Brad Eaves
A classic car is resurrected for many reasons. Whether the build is driven by profit, passion or fun, Nuts and Bolts Cult celebrates them all. But there are some cars that are built on the principle of love, which is what has motivated Brad Eaves to give his 1969 Chevrolet Nova a second life. Brad purchased this Nova with one goal in mind, to memorialize his father who had unexpectedly passed away. His father, John, had built and driven a 1969 Nova SS in high school.
But Brad didn't just want any Nova. No, that isn't his style (nor was it his Dad's). He gutted the Chevy of it's tired inline 6 cylinder and 3 speed and stuffed in a hot 350 with all the aluminum goodies to lighten the front end. Next, he outfitted all four corners with a coil over suspension and disc brakes. A black with blue trimmed interior kit is what Brad settles into when he fires up this old hot rod and rips through all five gears with his Father's memory riding shotgun.
